Zoo

Boy, work has been taking a lot of my time lately, but I still managed to get a trip to the zoo in for Clarissa's birthday. It was a really hot humid day when we went so most of the animals were feeling pretty lethargic, however it was still a good time. I'm now enjoying doing nothing this weekend, and it should be fun having people over for a bbq tomorrow. So anyways, here's some pictures of some funny looking animals, and a few with some funny looking people in them too.
This guy had the right idea.

The rhino that thinks it's a hippo.

The hippo that thinks it's a.. hippo!

Taking butterfly pictures was fun.

The very rare Mike and Clair animals, they're near extiction as there's only 2 like them in the world. (Theres 3 giraffes in this picture.. all behind my big head.)

The entertaining apes.. the one kept hanging from the ropes and the other tried to pull him down, then they ran around and threw hay on themselves. The dad ape slept through the whole thing.. some father he is.

Clair and the flamingos. (Claire's the one that's not pink)

Captain's Blog 01/09/05

Gas. What a bunch of crap. How ridiculous is it that the price can jump 25 cents overnight? There's absolutly no justification for having prices so high. I do a lot of driving, and this is starting to add up. It's funny, but it seems like when the prices are so high, the little needle likes to drop to the empty mark quicker too. When I move, i'm gunna move within biking distance of where I work, or i'm going to buy a hydrogen electric solar powered car or something.. a golf cart, ya that would work. No more paying over-inflated double-taxed gas for me. The only solace I take is from laughing at all the people driving there SUV's around. Ha-ha.

I give it another month until money will no longer be good, and payment of your first born child will be the going rate.

IT SHOULD NOT COST OVER $50 TO FILL UP A CAVALIER

/rant off, I can go to bed now
