Summer nights

Well! I haven't been here in a while. So what have I been up to since October of last year?

Well, the new job is going well. It's basically how I would have expected it to be.. pretty boring, but also quite easy and stress free, and the people are nice so I can't complain really. Also King Tut is coming and I'm going to apply to work in that area which would mean a different (hopefully better) schedule and maybe more hours.

I'm single again, which is probably for the best. Had a great time while it lasted, and other than that I think it would be notable that she could be the only person I've ever actually gotten in "fights" with, which I find interesting. The whole thing was another good learning experience.

This summer has been really busy it seems. There's always something to do, which is good and bad I guess.. the bad being that things to do cost money. Went rafting again this year which was quite fun. Spent last Friday night at a friends cottage which turned out to be really cool. Some people from one of the other cottages came over to hang out with us for the night and I ended up talking a girl from their group. Somehow we ended up by the lake and from there ended up in our underwear and in the water in the darkness at 1 in the morning. Turned out this was one of the highlights of the summer for me, as we swam and treaded water and talked about life and stuff for about half an hour until I was too tired to swim. It almost seemed like it was out of a movie, and it was really relaxing and really fun. Then it was back to the fireplace. They left to go back to their cottage and I realized I don't even know her name and I'll probably never see her again.

Other than that I've been filling time by working out as much as I have time for and i'm a good 30 lbs heavier than I was at the beginning of the year, so we'll see where that goes. I definitly haven't gotten home or gone out golfing as much as I would like, but hopefully in the future those things will be easier to do with more time/money to work with.

Definitely sounds like a scene from a movie. Now you have to decide if you're in a comedy or a tragedy.
